We chose this bakery for our wedding cake and, so far, I couldn't be happier! Beautiful location and baked goods, friendly staff, and to-die-for donuts.
I stopped in with some friends for a doughnut and boy were we pleasantly surprised. Of course we first noticed the case of incredibly creative and amazingly tasty doughnuts. Nothing like you would find at a QD!! They take the concept of doughnut to a whole NEW LEVEL! But then our eyes wandered to even more incredible cookies, brownies, coffee cakes, croissants and MORE! OMG! and then we saw the breakfast and lunch offerings. This is going to be regular stop from now on. Glad we found them. (oh yeah, I like to photograph food too)
Katie and her crew make my family feel so welcome and appreciated every time we come. The food and drinks are always made correctly and delicious. They always take time to check in, say hi, and listen. We support Mitten Raised, always.
Mitten Raised is my favorite morning breakfast spot in East Lansing. They have great coffee with a rotation of seasonal drinks. The El Rito (black bean, sweet potato, avocado, egg wrap) is my go to breakfast or lunch when I stop in. It is mainly a bakery, so they have great donuts, cookies, brownies, and more!
We ordered the OG Cinnamon rolls and a few doughnuts. The cinnamon rolls are light and fluffy with a lucious frosting. The doughnuts were great too. Highly recommend.
Mitten Raised gave us, hands down, the most beautiful and delicious donuts and cake in the world for our wedding!! Katie, the owner, was so sweet, accommodating, responsive, and overall phenomenal to work with. My husband, the pickiest dessert eater to walk the planet, had some very specific requests that Katie and her team somehow were able to fulfill, which deserves more than 5 stars in my book. She even went above and beyond to create some new donut flavors/toppings that we had envisioned but didn't think could actually become a reality. Her help with the delivery and setup on the day of the event was much appreciated as well. So many guests sought me out at the reception just to comment on how incredible our desserts were and ask where we got them. Highly recommend Mitten Raised!
Cutesie and clean with seasonal decor. The years are pretty and delicious! So many options! I got a box of doughnuts for a group of hung over Spartans and they really hit the spot! ❤️
This place has all the baked goodies! I love the home made cinnamon buns. So, many other treats made fresh. The hours can be a little weird on weekdays but always looking for this place on the weekend if I'm in the area.
The muffin is so moist and soft, with the perfect amount of sweetness and berries, I really loved it. Coffee has a lot of flavors to choose from. Service is great :)
My husband and I LOVE Mitten Raised. The desserts, food and coffee are exceptional. We have a hard time choosing what to order because everything is so amazing. The owner and staff are kind and friendly, going out of their way to make the experience an enjoyable one. They also make our dog feel welcome when we have her at the outdoor seating area, she is a big fan of pup cups. Highly recommend!
